Poetic Petals
Almost every 2024 Bridal collection brought in florals in fresh ways. One particular standout trend was the use of appliqués to create unique 3D floral moments.
Here's what you need to create the look:
CND™ SUPPLIES:
- CND™ SHELLAC™ Base Coat
- CND™ SHELLAC™ Gel Polish Colors:
- Romantique
- Cream Puff
- CND™ SHELLAC™ No-Wipe+ Top Coat
- CND™ Over The Top Effects™
- CND™ LED Lamp
- CND™ BRISA™ Glass
ART SUPPLIES:
- Detail Brush
- 99% Isopropyl Alcohol
- Palette
- Tweezers
- Embellishments
- Acetate
- Cosmetic Sponge
HOW TO CREATE THE LOOK:
HOW TO CREATE THE FLOWER PETALS:
- Dispense a small amount of Cream Puff, Romantique and CND™ SHELLAC™ No-Wipe+ Top Coat onto a palette.
- Using a detail brush and No-Wipe+ Top Coat, create 4 oblong petal shapes and 4 smaller oblong petal shapes on a piece of acetate. Cure for one minute on button 2S.
- Using a detail brush, paint the largest petals with Cream Puff and the smaller petals in Romantique. Cure for one minute on button 2S.
- Apply a layer of CND™ SHELLAC™ No-Wipe+ Top Coat to each petal. Cure for one minute on button 3.
BELLA BLUE
2024 introduces emerging fun color trends for brides seeking something different. Soft pastels and blush tones were used in embroidered blooms bringing in the beauty of nature, providing that flowers are blooming in the wedding season ahead.
Here's what you need to create the nail look:

- CND™ VINYLUX™ Long Wear Polish Colors:
- Lady Lily
- Magical Topiary
- Creekside
- Chance taker
- Aura
- Cream Puff
- Soft Peony
- CND™ VINYLUX™ Long Wear Shine Top Coat
ART SUPPLIES:
- Detail Brush
- Striping Brush
- Stylus
- Palette
HOW TO CREATE THE LOOK:
- Prep the nails and apply two layers of Lady Lily. Allow each to dry.
- Dispense a small amount of Magical Topiary and Creekside onto a palette.
- Use a striping brush with Magical Topiary to create the flower stems & leaves, and a detail brush with Creekside to loosely create flowers.
- Dispense a small amount of Chance Taker and Aura onto a palette.
- Detail flowers with Chance Taker and use a striping brush with Aura to lightly outline the flower stems and leaves.
- Dispense a small amount of Cream Puff and Soft Peony onto a palette.
- Use a stylus with Cream Puff to add small dots to the center of the flowers and Soft Peony dots in clusters along the flower stem.
- Apply a layer of CND™ VINYLUX™ Long Wear Shine Top Coat.
